Pennsylvania

Recently, the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue showed their support for local businesses by issuing a bulletin mandating that Internet retailers with a physical presence in the state must start collecting and remitting the state’s sales tax beginning September 1, 2012.

This is a great first step toward leveling the playing field for all businesses—online or on Main Street.
